Chief Executive Officer
A trailblazer in Alberta’s real estate industry since 1979, George leads ProCura’s strategic growth, acquisitions, and partnerships. His leadership has established ProCura as one of Alberta’s largest transit-integrated landowners. Recognized as one of Alberta Venture Magazine’s 50 Most Influential People (2008), George was also a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2018).
Sherry Schluessel
Chief Operating Officer | Senior Managing Partner
With nearly 35 years of experience, Sherry leads strategic planning, marketing, and business development at ProCura. She has spearheaded transformative projects like Mayfair Village South, WSP Place, The Montana, The Louvre Residences, and more. As the founder of Signs of Change, and with other foundations, she has raised over $1,100,000 for youth charities. Sherry was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women (2014).
Michael Surkovic
Co-Chief Operating Officer
Michael brings over 20 years of experience in property management and portfolio strategy. His collaborative, solution-focused approach ensures operational excellence while meeting tenant and investor needs. Michael holds advanced degrees in economics and finance and is a Level 3 CGA.
Danish Wasim
Chief Investment Officer
Danish oversees ProCura’s financial strategy and project feasibility while fostering strong relationships with investors and lenders. His expertise in finance and forecasting ensures ProCura’s continued growth. He holds an MBA and has a background in banking.
