POSITION SUMMARY:

Description of duties and functions for an Enforcement Support position within the Parking and Facilities division.  This position will support the Parking and Facilities Business unit by providing support in the following key areas:

  • Patrol surface lots to ensure compliance with respect to hourly parking
  • Check monthly permits and authorization to park in permit zones
  • Issue infraction notices where applicable on ProCura properties
  • Daily operational checks of parking equipment
  • Use a handheld device to scan license plates for permitted and authorized parking
  • Liaise with tow operators as required
  • Back office permit and infraction management
  • Infraction processing
  • Customer service relations
  • General reporting and administration

 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a valid class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good comprehension of written legislation and able to compile accurate reports and maintain proper records
  • Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations with minimal to no supervision
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather condition
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost of discretion
  • Physically able to walk and drive for long periods of time
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, days
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
  • Must have a minimum of a high school diploma
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record check and be able to obtain a security license
  • Experience in security would be considered an asset
